By changing a few pictures and modifying the sidebar, we gave the landzilla template (from the Alex King theme competition of 2004) a complete makeover.
The first thing we did was to create a new heading image, containing images from microsoft’s free clipart art gallery.
Then we modified the side bar by:
- Added picture of client
- Added newsletter subscription box
- Added RSS subscription quick links.

What Does your site look like on a mac?
Submitted by sahdow on Wed, 2005-08-24 20:02. Resources
This has got to be one of the coolest things I’ve ever run across on the web.
Specializing in FrontPage websites, I can’t really use a Mac and as such don’t own one (FrontPage doesn’t come in Mac Flavor). I am always trying to find glitches or correct issues in designs when a client mentions that someone on a Mac said the site didn’t look right.
Well I don’t know how they fundism.com accomplished this, but I can view a screenshot of websites generated on a Mac screen from different browsers, from my PC.
But don’t take my word for it, Check it out
If the Fundism Generator is offline, you can also try the Safari Scrren Capture from Browsercamp

How Leaders, Teachers, and Parents Promote Discipline & Responsibility: Each time you coerce someone into doing something by using your power of authority, you deprive that person of an opportunity to become more responsible. We are accustomed to telling people what to do, punishing them if they don’t, and rewarding them if they do.

Rare and secretive creatures, the Gigasaurs were thought to be extinct until a recent sighting in Tucson AZ.
Ranging in size from massive to small, these majestic creatures are extremely territorial. The Eideasaurus was one of the first on the scene, and changed little, until the appearance of the Scsisaurus.
Due to it’s ability to digest a wider range of code, the Eidesaurus was the dominant Gigasaur of the early 8088 era. Though faster and more intelligent, the Scsisaurus often became the prey of the Eideasaurus, due to it’s inability to adapt to an ever changing environment.
Our scientists are in the process of tracking a herd of these creatures through the badlands known as “the Rat’s Nest”. Once we have located and evaluated the population levels of these creatures, they will be branded and sold to Gigasaur lovers across the US.
We believe that with proper planning these majestic creatures can once again roam freely in homes and offices everywhere

I’ve been working on project, involving making a number of MP3 files available for purchase and download for a client. As always I decided to use KickStartCart (1ShoppingCart.com).
Unfortunately I ran into a slight problem!
The system was crashing on some uploads and not others. I’m not going to tell you not to use KickStartCart, but rather, supply an answer for this problem.
Depending on the bandwidth your Internet provider is giving you, your maximum file size will be between 4 MB and 10-20 MB (They suggest closer to 4).
My problem – 18 MB MP3 files.
My answer — use an audio program such as Sound Forge to resample your MP3 Files.
The end result may not be BoseTM quality, but the over playback should be fine.
Follow these simple steps:
-
Resample the files to the lowest Frequency possible without Degrading Playback quality. If the files are still too big, try adjusting the Frequency lower until you get the best possible fit. In my case a 17MB file became 4MB.
-
Offer the files in the original high frequency version on a CD to be deliverded
